Paternity Test For King's Alleged Daughter
In the world’s largest ever alimony payout a woman is seeking a paternity test to establish whether her eldest daughter is the secret child of the late King Fahd of Saudi Arabia.
Paternity Test - A Tidy Sum
Friends of Janan Harb say that she has demanded a paternity test sample from the Saudi Royal Family for a paternity test to establish whether her daughter, Rania Boueiz, is also the King's daughter. If the results of the paternity test prove Ms Boueiz, a 30-year-old marketing executive from Chelsea, to be his daughter, she will be able to claim a large stake in the Saudi family’s £50 billion fortune.
Paternity Test Demands Not Met
If the result is positive the paternity test would greatly strengthen Ms Harb’s High Court claim for maintenance payments going as far back as 1993.
Ms Harb’s solicitors made the demand for the DNA sample two years ago, in order to conduct a paternity test, but they have yet to receive a reply.
Paternity Test - Playboy
It is thought that Ms Boueiz was fathered by the late Saudi King in Riyadh in 1974, when he was a playboy Prince with a number of wives, and that they had married five years earlier against the wishes of his family because she was not born a Muslim.
It has also been said that that Ms Boueiz shares some of Fahd’s physical features. A friend was quoted as saying "She is fair like him, she has similar shaped eyes and they have similar noses."
Paternity Test - No Comment
Ms Harb told the press, "If I lose this case, it will be seen as proof that there is no such thing as Islamic justice. I implore the new King to please salvage the situation before the Royal Family put me in a position that will break my personal code of honour. I do not want to embarrass the Royal Family or stain the memory of my husband."
